Eimear Tynan / Grainne Tynan
Eimear Tynan is a professional Visual Artist originally from Lusk, Co. Dublin. She graduated from DIT with a B.A. in Fine Art Painting in 2003. She has contributed to group exhibitions in Mart Gallery Rathmines (2015,2016), Nottingham Contemporary UK (2014), Pallas Projects (2013), The Linenhall Arts Centre (2012), Skibbereen Arts Festival (2012), Rua Red Arts Centre. She was shortlisted for Siamsa Tíre’s Emerging Artist Award (2011), and has been awarded bursaries by Fingal Arts office and The Arts Council.
Grainne Tynan is a professional Visual Artist who graduated from TCD (2006) with a B.Sc in Occupational Therapy, informing her work which often interrogates the materials and principles of medical science. She has held recent solo exhibitions in Pallas Projects (2016), The Library Project Dublin (2014), Courthouse Arts Centre Wicklow (2013), and Jennings Gallery UCC (2013). She has contributed to group exhibitions in The Science Gallery Dublin (2015), Hive Gallery USA (2015), Monster Truck Gallery (2013), and Eigse Festival in Visual Carlow (2012).
